In this Release:

Polling Robot, wait for me!

The good news is, our efforts to unstuck the Polling Robot made significant progress. The bad news is, our efforts were, in some areas, too successful. Combined with the wild proliferation of STIX-based threat intelligence sharing, customers reported unacceptable page load times for certain, large datasets.

Performance for the Dashboard and Feed Preview pages would start to degrade around 100k objects and become unacceptable around 500k-1m objects. The database is designed to handle millions of objects, and performed capably, but the frontend needed some tweaks to improve page load times. The continued increase of available threat intelligence is something we're keeping a close eye on.

As a safety measure, we removed 2.11.0 from availability while we worked on this improvement so that all our users have the best experience possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may have caused. We will continue to work on additional improvements towards polling and performance in our next release.

Many but Important Improvements

  1. Improved load times for the Dashboard and Feed Preview pages

  2. Clarified the error message when a user fails to change their password

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where, in certain circumstances, editing a Published Feed would result in a duplicate feed

  2. Fixed an issue where certain TLP colors were not accurately reflected in Feed Preview

  3. Fixed an issue where requesting XML output from the REST API would cause an error (JSON output works)
